Questions & Answers
1. What services does Prime Expats offer?
We handle four core areas: visas and work permits (Non-B business visas, extensions, renewals, re-entry permits), Thai company registration and structuring, monthly accounting and tax filings, and ongoing compliance support. Most clients need a combination of these, and we coordinate everything through a single point of contact.
2. Who are your typical clients?
Entrepreneurs setting up a business in Thailand, digital nomads who need a legal base, investors looking at Thai company structures, retirees planning long-term stays, and families relocating to Phuket. Most of our clients are foreign nationals who need a reliable local partner to navigate Thai bureaucracy without the guesswork.
3. How does the Non-B business visa process work?
Once your Thai company is registered (or if you already have one), we prepare all the documentation, book your appointment at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, and coordinate your 2-day visa run. The Non-B visa is valid for 3 months on entry. After you return to Thailand, we handle the work permit application and, later, the 1-year visa extension. The full process from company setup to work permit typically takes 6–10 weeks.
4. What is required to register a Thai company?
You need a company name, a registered office address (with Blue Book), 3–4 company objectives, and at least two Thai shareholders who hold a minimum of 51% of the shares. You also need to provide ID cards, Blue Books, phone numbers, and emails for all Thai directors and shareholders. If you don’t have Thai partners yet, we can arrange temporary nominees to get started.
5. How long does company registration take?
Typically 5 to 10 business days after we receive payment and all required documents. Delays usually happen when documents are incomplete or arrive in batches. We send you a full checklist upfront so you can gather everything at once.
6. Do I need a physical office to register a company?
You need a registered address with a Blue Book and Google Maps location. A villa or house can be used, but note that immigration may charge an additional 7,000–10,000 THB when you extend your business visa if you don’t have a proper office. We can help you find a suitable office space if needed.
7. What happens after my 3-month Non-B visa expires?
We submit your extension documents 10–20 days before your visa expires. The current process involves an office inspection by immigration, a 1-month interim stamp, and then approval for the remaining 11 months. Your company must have at least 4 Thai employees registered with Social Security per foreign worker. We handle the full process and prepare your office for the inspection.
8. How much do your services cost?
Pricing depends on the service package. We provide a personalised quote after a short discovery call where we understand your situation. All prices are in Thai Baht, exclude VAT, and are clearly broken down so you know exactly what you’re paying for. No hidden fees.
9. What are your payment terms?
Full payment is required before work begins. For packages over 50,000 THB, we accept 70% upfront and 30% on completion — agreed in writing beforehand. We accept bank transfers and credit card payments. You receive a receipt within 24 hours of payment.
10. What accounting and tax services do you provide?
We handle monthly bookkeeping, VAT registration and filings, corporate income tax, withholding tax, Social Security registration and contributions, and year-end financial statements. Everything is managed by licensed Thai accountants through our partner network, with us as your single point of contact.
11. How do you keep me updated on my case?
You get a dedicated contact person from day one. We communicate primarily via WhatsApp and email, and we proactively update you at every milestone — you shouldn’t have to chase us. After payment, you receive a welcome message with your timeline, next steps, and a document checklist so you always know where things stand.
12. Can I leave Thailand after getting my Non-B visa?
Yes, but you must get a re-entry permit before you leave. Without one, your visa is automatically cancelled when you exit the country. We coordinate re-entry permits as part of our service, or as a standalone add-on.
13. Do you handle visa renewals and ongoing compliance?
Yes. We track renewal dates, send reminders, and handle the paperwork for visa extensions, work permit renewals, 90-day reporting, and annual filings. Many clients stay with us on a monthly retainer so nothing falls through the cracks.
14. How do I get started?
Reach out via WhatsApp, phone, email, or the contact form on this website. We’ll reply within a few hours and set up a short discovery call to understand what you need. From there, you’ll receive a personalised proposal with a clear scope, timeline, and price. Once you approve and pay, we get to work immediately.
