Business Visa (Non-Immigrant B)

This type of visa is for foreign professionals, entrepreneurs, investors or employees who wish to work, operate a business or conduct investment-related activities in Thailand.

The Non-Immigrant “B” visa allows you to enter Thailand for business purposes and, once in the country, apply for a work permit.

Eligibility

• Foreign national with business activities or employment ties in Thailand
• Company documents or employment contracts supporting the purpose of stay

Key Requirements

• Passport with validity beyond travel plans
• Completed visa application
• Proof of business purpose (company documents, invitation letters, etc.)
• Evidence of adequate finances
• Passport photos and other supporting documentation as required

Important Notes

• After arrival, holders must apply for a work permit to legally work
• Usually issued for 90 days or up to 1 year depending on the embassy/consulate and business justification
