This status allows a foreign national involved in an ongoing court case in Thailand to remain in the country until the legal process is complete.

Eligibility

• Active court case with official documentation
• Often applies to defendants (not complainants)
• Passport may be held by the court

Key Requirements

• Official court case number and legal documentation
• Supporting legal authorization (e.g., power of attorney)

Important Notes

• This is not a standard visa category but an extension due to legal proceedings
• Cannot convert directly to a standard long-stay visa
• Leaving Thailand and applying from abroad is usually required for a new visa
